Riyan Parag is an international professional Indian team cricketer. He plays domestic cricket for Assam. In fact, his batting system is Right-handed batsman and bowling style Legbreak.His named in India’s squad for the Under-19 World Cup Cricket in December 2017. On 17 November 2017, he started his first-class debut for Assam in the Ranji Trophy 2017-18. Parag has selected to play IPL 2019 in Rajasthan Royals team by the paid of retained Rs 20 lakh.

At 16, Riyan Parag was already a world cup medalist, having played a significant role in India's successful Under-19 triumph in the 2018 World Cup. Having made his Twenty20 debut for Assam in January 2017, Ryan, who is a right-handed batsman and can bowl useful leg-breaks, was soon spotted and named in the squad for the 2018 U-19 World cup in New Zealand.

The World cup success was preceded by another successful overseas outing, this time in the red-ball format of the game as the Indian colts demolished their English counterparts in a 2-Test series. Only 15 then, Parag played his part in the monumental success, stroking three half-centuries, including the fifties in both innings of the first unofficial Test. An IPL contract happened at the 2019 auctions when Rajasthan Royals picked him up.
